On Thursday, Veterans Day,  Sue Robinson, Sue Dyer and Darlene Bornhoeft
took their USO tour and made it a road show!  Yes , just like a real USO
tour.  They went to a nursing home where the Veterans there were having a
Memorial Service.  The Girls were a big hit!  Some of the Vets were
singing along with the girls.   After doing 3 songs, we said goodbye
and you could hear a moan from the Vets.  Is that all?  They wanted more.
 The girls were a bright spot in an otherwise somber ceremony.   A BIG
thank you for Sue Dyer, Darlene Bornhoeft and Sue Robinson,  you girls brought back some good memories for some of our Hero's!  We all salute you!   

On the way home Sue and I stopped at the Erie Cemetery and had a look at
the Veterans Memorial.  It was  a nice way to finish the day.

USO Party was October 29 at 6:00 pm in the club house.
