Larry Burtons 2 car garage is now a 1 Plane garage. He has it all set up to build his plane. The car can get in next winter.
Larry has his tail painted. The paint job will be like the plane he trained in, as a navy pilot cadet. It was a T-34.

I suggested he has all his parts up on a wall. this makes it easy to find what he is working on. When the wall is empty...his car gets the garage!

Larry put a padding between the fabric and the fuselage. Makes for a smoother side. I like the interesting pattern he found.

The area under the motor has been lowered, and curved aluminum fillers have been added.

I did a airframe inspection and also took a close look at what he has done to this point.

In This picture we are starting on the right door. The left side is done and the wide body is in place.
Both doors are on and we are doing the nose.

The windscreen is put on and we start to get an idea of where we want it. We laid it out on the nose with masking tape.
The windscreen is riveted in place and we can do the trimming. we also laid out the door for the nose.

Back at Erie for motor and markings.

Larry has too much time on his hands.

But what time is it?

Looking Good Larry.
