Clubhouse

 

 

 

Friday 11th of May concrete went in.  Saturday May 17 walls went up.

 

 

 

For the roof project, Ed Vens cuts the ends of the trusses.

 

 

They are positioned and toe nailed into place.

 

 

Neil Reith holds Kevin's ladder as he nails.

 

 

Now the plywood.  But the group that went to Jack Thompson's

memorial service has returned.

Steve Bornhoeft, Mike Housenga and Jim Robinson join in the fun.

Larry Espe is doing an outstanding job with the wiring. We have one ceiling fan. The other one bit the dust.

Nov. 30th 03

Lyle long stopped by and it was too windy to fly so we put him to work.

Sue Robinson scrubbed the new clubhouse chairs.

Jim and Dennis repaired and cleaned the frames and cushions.

Looks better every week at the clubhouse.

Joe Schaak brought his tools and helped put the finishing touches.

 

 

 

Still need stain on one door.

 

 

 

JR laid out some tile to see how it will look.

 

 

 

The Bar stools will sit at the observation window facing the runway.

 

 

 

Ted Wink built some braces for under the countertop at the window and Joe finishes and installs.

 

 

 

Ted and Mary Lou Wink helped trim out the room along with Mike and Kathy Housenga, Dennis and Sue Dyer, Dennis and Sherri Kremer, and Jim and Sue Robinson. Tile will go down this week.
