Dawn Patrol 4

Trip to Geneseo Airport August 9, 2003

Special thanks to Kent Johnson for letting us fly in.

He has invited us back another time.

Neil Reith was the first to drive in to Erie and get Pegasus ready.

Jim taxi's his plane to the clubhouse. A plane flies over. It's Bob Kuhns!!!

Sun's not quite up yet.

A little bit of fog to the east.

More fog but patchy. Can still make out ground.

Nothing to worry about. It's really patchy.

Sun finally rises to greet us. Fog looks like a cotton blanket.

To the west it was patchy but to the east it was rolling in.

Steve & Darlene land and Jim & Dennis follow them in. Jeannie was there already.

Steve parked next to Jeannie and Jim parked back behing house so others could park.

Well everyone else circled for a while and went home. Jennie had to leave and go to work.

We had to tough it out by the pool.

Bob Kuhns was still airborne and wife Barb was ready to go to work.

Darlene loaded up the rolls and we headed back to Erie.

Shot of JR heading home.

At Erie there were 3 powered parachutes that flew in and 7 planes.

Some of the planes were put away and we looked at pictures of PPC.

Oh and there was the corn stalk on Larry Espe's left gear leg???

Dan Dawson and JR talk to Larry about corn.

But who wants to hear about corn. Sue Robinson looks over the donuts...

Dan Dawson stuck in the fog circleing took this beautiful picture..
