Jim Robinson, Dennis Dyer and the Pegasus Club members will be assisting each other in updating and re-skinning the club plane. Brian DeWitte will rebuild the engine and rewire the entire airplane. The doors will be rebuilt and a new instrument panel will be built.  It had been 10 years since the last new skin was applied. In the 10 years the number of hours is in the thousands.

A new paint job will give Peggy a new look.

All skin finally removed. Checking for loose rivets and breaks.

Old nose removed, awaiting new fiberglass one.

Top tail section tube pushes against cross bar.

Front side of cross bar. New crossbars have larger sheetmetal area.

Aileron control arm (for whatever reason) was drilled with a new center hole.

JR made some cosmetic braces for the engine compartment.

Dennis Dyer & Neil Reith spent the first few days tearing down.

This happens when the tail comes down too hard.

This Challenger was built October 1984 and was owned by the late Chuck Hamilton. It is number 104. Has been used as a trainer for the last 10 years so it has had a lot of use.
