Skinning 3 Skinning 2 & 3

On side, trim and glue the top edge of fabric.

On tail section cut opening for control arms.

Brush on glue before laying fabric.

Placing clamps on fabric will hold tight enough to size fabric.

Overlap fabric about 1 inch onto bottom.

Finished glueing leaves skin looking loose.

First pass should hit the loosest areas first not the entire side.

After second pass looks great.

Glue applied to forward section of fuselage.

After top bottom section overlapped to bottom.

After ironing Aircraft placed back on horses.

Only have the right side to do now.

Lay on side and glue areas to be covered.

Latex based paint.

We changed from the darker UV coatings to the light gray.

Should be done March 1, yes 2004.

ELT on board. In the future these might be mandatory.

Painting is really fast.

Exhaust and muffler are Ceramic coated. Much better than powder coating.

Still a lot of parts on the floor to be put together.

Here is the Latex paint left over after painting.

Installed engine only has 8 hours on it.
