The UFI/BFI refresher course
was April 24, 2004 at Erie Airpark in
the Illowa Sport Flyers Club house.
Ben Morrow and his wife Joyce were the instructors
in
charge. Joyce has a article on weather in the premier issue of
Sport Pilot and will continue to be a contributor. Ben has been
involved with aviation for over 30 years and has many published articles
in many publications. A simple web search found these articles:
Six Chuter's new 2-seat Spirit powered parachute is the result
of "totally reengineering" their SR-7xl model. Six Chuter hired FAA
consultant Ben Morrow to ensure the Spirit was ready for Light-Sport
Aircraft certification, should the FAA's recently released Notice of
Proposed Rulemaking 2001-11133 - Sport Pilot/Light-Sport Aircraft be
adopted as U.S. regulation.
From the EAA website:
This specialized web site was
developed by Ben Morrow, a retired FAA staff member and ultralight
enthusiast. When FAA discontinued its ultralight and amateur-built
aircraft safety bulletin board after Morrow’s retirement, he created the
current site to maintain this database of valuable information.
It was an excellent day for class,
especially when it started raining. Here are a few pictures of the day.
