Take a 1/2 in.alum. tube bend it to fit the door and cut to length.

Tape it to the door and check fit.

Cut a short 12 in. tube to act as a brace. This will keep the fabric from pulling the tube away from the door as you shrink the fabric.

Next I cut some gussets that will be used to hold everything. Use stainless steel short rivets.

Clamp everything in place and you are ready to drill and rivet.
